You have no doubt about the environmental impact of human activity. But at the same time, you also see possibilities to mitigate or neutralise that impact. Sustainability and the Green Deal have become the guiding principles of the new economy, and it needs responsible environmental science and protection captains – people like you. In this study programme, you will learn how to observe, assess, and analyse both natural and human-induced environmental and climate changes. The competences that you will acquire will not only enable you to document but also to change the current situation – to choose the appropriate measures to protect organisms and ecosystems and to use the Earthʼs resources more effectively. Here, you will delve into ecology, biology, geology, meteorology, and climatology, learn about plants, soil, and water, and be able to look at the environment as a whole from both natural science and social science perspectives. If personal efforts to help nature are not enough for you – start improving the entire system. By helping industry, energy, and construction companies, public institutions, and various organisations to protect our environment more effectively, you will contribute to preserving our planet for future generations. Can anything be more important than that?
