The program supports historically-informed and forward-looking approaches to the analysis of cultural and social identities, diversity and integration, exile and memory, forced migration, and refugee communities. The two-year Master of Arts (MA) program offers three pathways: coursework-only, research essay and thesis. There are also two Graduate Diplomas (GDips). A co-op option is available to full-time students in the MA program while full- and part-time students can pursue practicums. Both options allow students to combine their academic studies with real-world work experience and will aid students in the transition from their studies to the job market. We also offer a Specialization in African Studies , Climate Change. and Latin American and Caribbean Studies .
