Students will have the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on research experience in the design of surveys and the use of sophisticated quantitative methods to analyze survey data. Students will have the opportunity to realize and analyze a public opinion survey that will be administered to respondents across Canada. The microprogram consists of 6 course units and must be completed over the fall and winter semesters of an academic year. The microprogram is offered in English (2022-2023; 2023-2024) and in French (2024-2025) in alternation. The completion of the microprogram will be mentioned in their transcript. Professional students who want to register in the M.A. program in Political Science or Public Administration after the completion of the microprogram can have these credits count towards the program requirements in view of obtaining their degree.
