The course option does not involve fieldwork and can be completed in one year. At the graduate level we offer a coursework-based MA program which does not involve fieldwork and is designed to be completed in 12 months; a thesis-based MA program which requires ethnographic fieldwork; and a PhD program which requires ethnographic fieldwork. We also offer a one-year graduate diploma which does not require research. Many of our former graduate students have gone on to become professional anthropologists.
