Award
Concordia entrance scholarships are awarded by the Faculties every Fall to new bachelor's admission candidates "on the basis of top Cegep grades or equivalent (Canadian high school etc.)", mostly automatically; "based on completion of CEGEP, Canadian High School or College, or equivalent"; candidates must be full-time, entering university for the first time and admitted to a Bachelor's program (for Fine Arts programmes requiring a portfolio, selection is based on the portfolio). The guaranteed CAD 4,000 Concordia Undergraduate Excellence Award is for Canadian citizens and permanent residents only and does not apply to international applicants. Source

Funding packages are generally available for students in thesis-based programs. They come in the form of awards, teaching and research assistantships are offered at the time of admission to most students to allow them to focus on their research and studies. Research and thesis-based students are automatically considered for all entrance graduate awards when they apply to Concordia, provided they meet eligibility criteria. No separate application is required. The Quebec and Canadian governments offer a number of competitive graduate scholarships. We encourage you to apply for these awards at the same time you are preparing your application. (The out-of-province special funding on this page is for Canadian students from outside Quebec and does not apply to international applicants.)
