2-year academic master's programme (English/Latvian) uniquely combining circular economy principles with social entrepreneurship values. Students develop skills to create new business ideas in circular and social economy, addressing real-world challenges from climate change to social inequality. Core subjects: Circular Economy, Social Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainable Development, Design Thinking, Startup Entrepreneurship, Research Methods, and Strategic and Change Management. Graduates work as social entrepreneurs, sustainability managers, and project managers in NGOs and policy institutions implementing sustainable development.
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (economics or management preferred); OR Bachelor's in any Social Sciences field plus minimum 2 years management experience. English proficiency: B2 level minimum β IELTS 5.5-6.0, TOEFL iBT 72+, Cambridge FCE/CAE/CPE 160+, TOEIC 605+, PTE Academic 59+. An EOE counsellor can advise on eligibility. A medium-of-instruction (MOI) letter from your previous institution, confirming that your studies were conducted in English, is accepted in place of an English test score.
