About this programme
Delivered at UWS's Lanarkshire campus, this MSc covers the full drone lifecycle across four pillars: drone operations and systems integration, data analysis and perception (remote sensing, intelligent perception), cybersecurity and software specialisations, and professional development/dissertation work, running 1 year full-time (September) or 1.5 years full-time (January), with part-time options. A notable feature is that students earn an industry-recognised pilot certification in drone operations alongside the degree, and assessment is based on project outcomes, technical demonstrations and presentations rather than traditional exams.
