2-year master's programme in information technologies focusing on research and modelling of complex business processes. Three interdisciplinary applications: (1) Computerised production control systems β analysing production systems and developing control mechanisms; (2) Systems analysis β software engineering theory and practical problem-solving; (3) Information technologies in biosystems β applying IT solutions for biological data management. Programme concludes with a Master thesis. Graduates pursue roles in IT, information systems development, functional research, systems analysis, and risk assessment. Doctoral study continuation available in Latvia and internationally. Qualification: Master Degree of Engineering in IT (Mg.sc.ing.). 120 ECTS.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics; or a Diploma in Engineering (higher professional education) eligible for master-level study. English proficiency: B2 level minimum β IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 547, or TOEFL-iBT 80. An EOE counsellor can advise on eligibility for your specific background. A medium-of-instruction (MOI) letter from your previous institution, confirming that your studies were conducted in English, is accepted in place of an English test score.
