About this programme
Our MA in Celtic Civilisation is concerned with the history of the Celtic peoples from central Europe to Ireland, and from the early Iron Age into the Middle Ages. The focus is on Ireland's affinities with the outside world: our European inheritance in prehistoric times, and the manner in which Ireland influenced European culture in the early Christian period.

What are the entry requirements?
UCC equates an Indian bachelor's degree at 55% to a 2H2 and at 65% to a 2H1, but states that Indian applicants will normally be required to achieve a first class / first division mark, which is 75%. UCC names the University of Mumbai, University of Delhi, University of Calcutta and the University of Pune as institutions whose graduates may be accepted at high second class, at the discretion of the academic department. UCC does not reject three-year Indian degrees outright and states the standard of the awarding institution will be considered. Applicants should check the programme page for whether it asks for a 2H1 or a 2H2.
