About this programme
At master's level students learn about recent achievements in the field of aerospace engineering and the methods and tools that prepare them for taking management positions in industry or undertaking research activities. The third semester of the three-semester study is devoted to solving a research problem, with the problem statement and solution put into the master's diploma thesis.

Students are provided with knowledge allowing for scientific research and the design, optimisation, modernisation and maintenance of flying vehicles. Graduates are well prepared to work for aviation engine design offices, research laboratories and maintenance centres, and to deal with all types of internal combustion engines. Modules include Advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics, Aircraft Systems Laboratory, Composite Materials in Aerospace, Control in Aerospace, Dynamics of Flight, Mechanics of Thin-Walled Structures, and Structural Analysis of Aero Engines.
