The Master's Program in the School of Engineering at Tohoku University spans four semesters combining coursework and research, with most courses taken in the first two semesters and the final year devoted mainly to research and the Master's dissertation. It covers departments including Mechanical Systems Engineering, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Electronic/Communications Engineering, Applied Physics/Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Architecture, and Management Science and Technology. Entrance examinations are held in Sendai, Japan.
