Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) - Architecture

Architecture at ATU Sligo is described as the art of planning and designing the built environment based on an understanding of humankind and its connection to the earth. This 5-year, RIAI-accredited and RIBA-validated honours degree is studio-led (design studio is over 50% of each year), covering context and theory, technology and environment, structures, visual communication, professional studies, and thesis. Students who meet required grades may exit after 4 years with an embedded Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Architectural Design.

Leaving Certificate: 6 subjects at O6/H7 (incl. 2 at H5, English/Irish, and Maths) or equivalent GCE/A-levels; no portfolio required; advanced entry possible via cognate QQI FET Level 6
