In the Psychology Bachelor's programme students research human behaviour, the mind and emotions, learning how the brain controls behaviour and how people develop from infancy to old age. The curriculum is organised around three domains: how the brain works and its role in behaviour, development and mental health, and behaviour and environment. Most first-year courses are compulsory; from the second year students choose Specialty Courses and Domain Electives. It is a numerus fixus programme capped at 600 places.
Dutch VWO diploma (Biology recommended) or HBO propaedeutic plus extra maths/English; international qualifications assessed individually with maths/English proficiency requirements where needed. Numerus fixus, max. 600 places.
