Writing and English Literature

This programme develops students as creative and professional writers while exploring literature that has shaped different societies. Year 1 gives a grounding in writing techniques and audience analysis; Years 2-3 allow specialisation via optional modules covering short fiction, poetry, dramatic writing, and Romantic/Victorian literature and culture. Students get feedback from professional writers including Royal Literary Fund Fellows.

Standard UK Level 3 quals or equivalent; guide only, decision on overall suitability.
