Mechanical Engineering (with Placement Year)

A 4-year version of ARU's BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering that adds a Placement Year (typically in Year 3, 9-12 months) for students to apply Years 1-2 learning in industry before returning to complete the degree.

Standard UG entry requirements as for the 3-year BEng (Hons); a separate placement-year fee (~£1,700 for 2026/27) applies on top of annual tuition
