Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics

A two-year full-time program balancing coursework and substantial research equally. Students specialise in areas such as astrophysical techniques, stellar astrophysics, galaxies and cosmology, with many courses incorporating hands-on research and telescope data analysis.

Bachelor's degree with minimum 5.5/7.0 GPA; at least 8 cognate discipline courses at 5.5/7.0 GPA; minimum 2 second-year Physics courses and 2 second-year Mathematics courses; completion of a short research project equivalent to ANU ASTR3005.
